An agreement has been signed between Department of Posts (A.P.Circle) and State Bank of India ( SBI ) for installation of POS Machine (Chota ATM) on a PILOT project for a period of three months in Andhra Pradesh Circle.
This service enables customers to draw cash through Chota ATM
The transaction limit for using a valid card is a minimum of Rs. 100/- and a maximum of Rs. 1000/-. The Post Office will not allow or make any cash advances and / or cash refunds directly to the card members. The Post office will allow card holders only cash transaction.
The SBI will recoup the amount paid through Post Office on T+1 basis, along with commission @ Rs. 5/- per each transaction irrespective of the amount to the concerned Head Post master Government SB account.
Now this ATM is being operational in Puttur LSG SO under Pilot Project.
